Frank Berenson, MD
Frank Berenson, MD, brings over two decades of experience in pediatric neurology and headache management to PANDA Neurology & Atlanta Headache Specialists, serving patients in and around metro Atlanta.
Dr. Berenson began his professional education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After graduation, he moved south and enrolled at the University of Georgia in Athens, earning his graduate degree. Dr. Berenson subsequently enrolled at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and earned his Doctor of Medicine.
After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Berenson moved to Ohio to participate in a pediatric neurology fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland. At the end of his fellowship, Dr. Berenson practiced at Case Western Reserve University and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital as an assistant professor of child neurology, both in Cleveland.
In 1997, Dr. Berenson returned to the Atlanta area with his family. Over the course of the last 20 years, Dr. Berenson continued to augment his professional skills, gaining expertise in neonatal neurology, headache medicine, epilepsy, and neurophysiology.
Dr. Berenson is board-certified in child neurology and is also one of only three doctors in the state of Georgia boarded for headache medicine. Dr. Berenson is also a proud fellow of the American Headache Society.
Dr. Berenson provides compassionate care in a warm, welcoming environment. His patients love him and Dr. Berenson has earned the title of one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors six years running.
Outside of serving patients at PANDA Neurology & Atlanta Headache Specialists, Dr. Berenson is actively involved in the care of neonates at Northside Hospital. Dr. Berenson also enjoys contributing his expertise to clinical trials and drug studies related to the treatment of headache disorders, epilepsy, Tourette’s syndrome, and headache medicine and is a published researcher.
